Welcome to Krē ā tiv´ə tē, the Shawnee Community College Creative Journal!
Our aim is to provide a creative space for SCC students, faculty, and staff. We look forward to artwork, fiction, multimedia, music, nonfiction, photography, and poetry submissions. SCC's Writers Club members and club sponsor will review submissions for publication.
Submission Guidelines:
We accept submissions via email only. Previously published work must be acknowledged. Include your name and contact information, including email address and phone number, in the body of the email. A brief bio is requested in the body of the email. Submit work in .doc or .jpg format. Do not paste submissions in the body of the email. Include the completed Release to Publish document with your submission; see the form below.
Artwork: Artwork can be submitted in .jpg formation or scanned and sent as an attachment.
Fiction and nonfiction: Include the title of the work and word count in the body of the email. Submit one piece of fiction or nonfiction. Double-space and use 12 pt. font for all prose.
Multimedia and Music: Send inquires via email to the Editor at sandyf@shawneecc.edu
Poetry: Include poetry titles in the body of the email. Submit no more than five poems. All poems must be single-spaced in 12 pt. font. Place all of the poems in one attachment, not as separate attachments.
